Arthur Mendoza -
Founder & Artistic Director
Arthur Mendoza was the principal acting instructor for the Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting West. He has taught in Los Angeles for 15 years and has worked with such talents as Khandi Alexander, Peta Wilson, Finola Hughes, Branford Marsalis, Deidre Hall, Salma Hayek and Benicio Del Toro. Arthur has performed in more than 124 plays and worked on television and in film. He has directed productions at ACT, including the Glass Menagerie, 7 Women, A Director & a Tape Recorder and four seasons of ACTtheREP. Arthur earned his B.A. from U.C. Riverside, and an MFA from U.C. San Diego. He studied with Stella Adler for 10 years before becoming the founding principal instructor at her studio in Hollywood.
Monica Garcia -
Associate Instructor
Monica Garcia has studied with Arthur Mendoza since 1996. Previously the Theatre Manager at ACT, Monica currently teaches the Technique 1 & 2 class with Arthur Mendoza. Monica has appeared onstage at Actors Circle Theatre in Hermanas and Seven Women, and works in television.
Andreas Kraemer - Theatre Manager
Andreas Kraemer has studied with Arthur Mendoza since 2004. He made his ACT stage and assistant directing debut in The Gingerbread Lady last summer in the 2006 ACT Summer Rep.. Andreas' other acting credits include various film, television and stage performances. |
